What the service does

QRSmith offers browser-based utilities to create QR codes and process images, text and calculations. The current version is provided free of charge and without an account.

Use lawfully and responsibly

You must comply with applicable law and respect third-party rights. Do not use QRSmith to facilitate fraud, phishing, malware, unlawful surveillance, harassment or distribution of illegal content. You are responsible for the information and links you encode.

Check your results

QR codes, calculations and converted files may not be compatible with every device or use case. Always test codes, links, formulas and files before printing, sharing or relying on them. Do not use the tools as a substitute for professional legal, medical, financial or other regulated advice.

Local processing

The current tools are designed to process inputs in your browser, without intentionally sending the content to QRSmith servers. You should still avoid entering highly sensitive information on any website unless you have assessed the risks and your device is secure.

Intellectual property and third-party software

Do not copy or redistribute QRSmith original materials except as permitted by law or by the relevant rights holder. Open-source components remain governed by their own licences, which are identified on the Open-source Licences page.

Availability and changes

We may change or discontinue tools to maintain security, improve the service or comply with legal obligations. The service is provided without guarantees of uninterrupted availability or fitness for a particular purpose, to the extent permitted by law. Mandatory rights and non-excludable liability remain unaffected.

Operator and applicable law

The operator’s identifying details are published in the Legal Notice. Mandatory consumer or data-protection rights continue to apply. Any choice-of-law or jurisdiction clause may only apply to the extent permitted by applicable law.
