Data processed by the tools

In this version, QR generation, text processing and image tools are designed to run in your browser. The content you enter and files you select are processed locally and are not intentionally uploaded to QRSmith servers. Avoid using the service if your browser or a modified extension causes behaviour different from the standard site.

Technical data and purposes

The hosting, DNS, content-delivery and security provider may process technical request data such as IP address, requested URL, browser/device information, timestamps and security events to deliver the pages, prevent abuse and maintain service security. The actual data and retention period depend on the provider’s current terms and the account configuration and must be verified by the operator before launch.

Legal bases

Depending on the data and purpose, processing may be necessary to provide the requested website, comply with a legal obligation, or pursue the operator’s legitimate interests in keeping the service secure and available. Non-essential analytics or advertising must not be activated before an appropriate legal basis and, where required, prior consent are in place.

Service providers and international processing

The site is intended to be hosted using Cloudflare Pages and related Cloudflare services. Cloudflare may process technical data under its own terms and applicable agreements. Data is not sold by QRSmith.

How long data is kept

Tool inputs are intended to remain in the browser session and are not stored by QRSmith. Technical logs are retained according to the hosting/security provider’s applicable policies and settings. Before launch, the operator should verify the applicable retention periods rather than assume a fixed period.

Your rights

Where data-protection law applies, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, request portability, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Third-party links and changes

If you follow an external link, that provider’s privacy terms apply. This policy must be updated before adding contact forms, user accounts, analytics, advertising, embedded third-party content or other features that change data processing.
